SunWest Foods exports annually between 75,000 and 100,000 Metric Tons of U.S. Number 1, Milled White and Brown rice to far away destinations in the Middle East, Pacific Rim and Europe. Due to shipping constraints, SunWest limits sales to a minimum of 5,000 Metric Tons and has handled vessels as large as 24,000 Metric Tons.

We ship in 50 KG woven poly bags on occasion but the customary method of shipment from California is via bulk vessels through the Port of Sacramento which has a draft of 25 feet.

Domestic

SunWest Foods also has branded packaging for domestic retailers, wholesalers and distributors. We have several package and case sizes for Calrose (medium grain) and Long Grain under our SunWest and Nutririte labels.
