1/2 cup sunflower kernels

1 (16-oz.) can garbanzo beans

3 cups cooked brown rice

1 medium onion, chopped

1 medium carrot, shredded

1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Vegetable oil for frying

8 slices French bread, toasted

GREEK WRAP

Ingredients

2 cups cubed cooked chicken

1 5-6.9 oz package chicken seasoned rice mix, prepared as directed

1 medium red onion, chopped

1 2 1/4 ox can sliced ripe olives, drained

1 package (4 oz) seasoned feta cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup prepared Caesar salad dressing

3 8-inch pita break rounds, halved

Directions

Combine chicken, rice, onion, olives, cheese and dressing in large bowl; toss to blend. Fill each pita with 1 cup rice mixture. Wrap up and serve immediately.

Makes 6 servings.
